Summer Surprises!

Hello everyone!

Rita and I would like to express our sincerest gratitude to you for your prayers and partnership with us as we go into the mission field. We could not do this without you. We are humbled by your prayers and generosity. Here are a few things that have happened since we updated you last.

We are excited to announce that we have reached 100% of our support that we needed to raise! This was work all done by God. With the COVID-19 pandemic going on, Rita and I thought it would be difficult to reach our goal. How in the world would we be able to raise support with this going on? Well, we could not. Luke 18:27 says, “But he said, “”What is impossible with man is possible with God.”” This statement is so true for us. God did all the work. I really feel that God took the wheel and we just stayed in the background, reaping the rewards but giving God all the Glory! Please praise Him for all that He has done. He brought us a staggering 20% during the pandemic.

Many of you know that we are in the process of selling our house before we move to Camp Barakel. Again, because of everything going on in the world, we were unsure of what that would look like. We prayed earnestly that our house would sell quickly, and those prayers have been answered. We listed our house on Wednesday, July 8th and let me tell you at first that I did worry about it. I had anxiety over the whole thing. But many of you have been praying for us on the house and on July 11th, just 72 hours after we listed the house we have accepted an offer. Awesome God! You definitely did it again. We are planning on moving to Camp Barakel in early August. Please pray for a smooth transition for us.

Our church is having a commissioning service for us on July 26th at 11AM at Crossroads Community Church in Shelby Township. We are having some families from Camp Barakel present. Paul Gardner will be speaking, along with our pastor, Curtis Wilson.

This is one of those updates that I enjoy writing because God gets all the glory. I want Him to have it all. If it were not for His doing, we would not be where we are at. So please, take a moment, bow your head and praise and thank God with us!

Soli Del Gloria!
